The RESP type you ultimately choose has got to be the right fit for you – RESPs are often in place for a long time. Your plan choice often depends on who you're saving for and how you are most comfortable making contributions. Individual plans are a great choice if you're saving for one child and are looking for a flexible RESP or if you wish to set a specific Plan Contribution Target as your goal, however, a structured group plan could be something to also consider.
