Children’s Education Funds Inc. - Spring Colouring Contest Rules (the “Colouring Contest”)

Children’s Education Funds Inc. (“Contest Organizer”) is offering the Colouring Contest. By participating in this contest, the person or child’s legal parent/guardian is agreeing to the Contest Rules and Terms and Conditions as outlined below. The Colouring Contest is not available to residents of Quebec.

Contest

The Colouring Contest begins April 8, 2024 at 9:00 am ET and closes at 5:00 pm ET on May 31, 2024.

Eligibility

Contest is open to persons under 12 years of age. One (1) entry per person.

Here’s How to Enter:

Step 1:
a. Download the colouring page from our website https://www.cefi.ca/colouringcontest/ and print out the page; or
b. Pick up a paper copy from a Dealing Representative of the Contest Organizer.

Step 2:
Colour it in however you like.

Step 3:
Scan and upload your entry online via our website at https://www.cefi.ca/colouringcontest/. Please follow the submission instructions on the webpage.

If you mail in your entry, please ensure that you include:

• Your name and age, and
• a parent or guardian's phone number and their e-mail address

Attach a separate sheet if necessary.

By entering the contest, you agree to let the Contest Organizer post your artwork on www.cefi.ca, Facebook and Instagram (all personal information will be anonymized) and you accept the terms and conditions.

Judging

Entries will be judged at contest end and at that time, the winner and the prize as described below. All decisions are at the discretion of the Contest Organizer and are subject to change at any time.

Winner & Prize

The selected entrant’s legal parent(s) or guardian(s) will be notified by either email or phone. If the legal parent(s) or guardian(s) of the selected entrant do not accept or respond to the Contest Organizer within 72 hours of first being contacted, another entry will be selected and the same process will continue until a winner is declared.

To be declared the winner, within 72 hours of being contacted by the Contest Organizer, the selected entrant’s legal parent(s) or guardian(s) must consent to and accept that the selected entrant be declared the Winner in writing using the form supplied by the Contest Organizer at that time.

Answering a skill testing question is required to claim the prize.

The winner will receive;

• One (1) Crayola kids art prize pack valued at approximately $80.00 CDN (the Prize)

The Prize will be shipped to the address supplied to the Contest Organizer by legal parent(s) or guardian(s) of the winner.

General Terms & Conditions

By entering the Contest, all entrants agree to be bound by the rules of the Colouring Contest and release the Contest Organizer and all parties associated with this Colouring Contest from any liability with respect to the Colouring Contest and the redemption of any Prize.

The Contest Organizer reserves the right to withhold the Prize or disqualify any Contestant's entry in the event that any Contestant fail or refuse to comply with these contest rules.

By entering this Colouring Contest, Contestants and their legal parent(s) or guardian(s) consent to the Contest Organizer publishing or announcing any Prize winner’s artwork, in future publicity, without permission or compensation to the Contestant or any other party. This shall include unlimited reproduction, publication, use and distribution in all forms and media, and in all manners including advertising, trade, display, editorial, art, video production, exhibitions and website content.

If for any reason, in the opinion of the Contest Organizer, in its sole discretion, the Colouring Contest is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Colouring Contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes beyond its control, the Contest Organizer reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Colouring Contest including any method of entry.

All entries become the property of the Contest Organizer and none will be returned. As per the privacy policy the Contest Organizer, the Contest Organizer does not disclose any personal information to any third party without the Contestant’s consent. All decisions made by the Contest Organizer with respect to this contest will be final.

The Contest Organizer will not enter into correspondence with any Contestant except with the selected entrants and at the Contest Organizer's own initiative.

This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

The Colouring Contest is not available to residents of Quebec.
