Children’s Education Funds Inc. AIR MILES® Reward Miles™ Contest

Contest Rules and Regulations

1. Contest Period
   Contest is valid only from May 8 to August 15, 2024 (the “Contest Period”).
2. Eligibility
   This contest is open to all residents in Canada, except for residents of Quebec, the age of 18 or over, with children, excluding employees of AIR MILES Loyalty Inc., RMG Loyalty, and Children's Education Funds Inc. as well as members of the immediate families of such employees (living in the same household as the employees.) CEFI Dealing Representatives cannot enter the contest. The contest is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

   For the purposes of these Contest Rules, regarding the AIR MILES® Reward Miles™ prize, the entrant is the individual in whose name the AIR MILES collector number has been established and this is the individual to whom the prize will be awarded if he/she is selected and declared a winner.

3. How to Enter
   NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To receive an entry into the Contest, you must successfully fill out the form available at www.cefi.ca/contest during the Contest Period. The form will collect the following information: full name, email address, phone number, city and province of residence, age, name of child, AIR MILES collector number. Limit of one (1) ballot per person during the Contest Period. If the information you provide when entering is inaccurate, your entry will be void.

   When completing the form, entrants will also be asked to confirm if they consent to receiving email communications from Children’s Education Funds Inc. Entrants may unsubscribe from these communications at any time by following the “unsubscribe” instructions contained in the marketing communications. The contact information of the party seeking consent is as follows: Children’s Education Funds Inc., 3221 North Service Road , Burlington , ON L7N 3G2, website www.cefi.ca.

4. Prize Description
   One (1) Grand Prize of 50,000 AIR MILES® Reward Miles™ (the “Prize”) to be awarded within 30 days from the end of the Contest Period. Prize will be provided via electronic transfer to winner’s AIR MILES account within 30 days after the random draw. To ensure that the winner receives the Prize in their collector account, winner should ensure their balance preference (AIR MILES Cash Miles™ or AIR MILES Dream Miles™) are set as desired prior to the Prize being posted in their collector account. Draw will take place at 3221 North Service Road, Burlington, ON L7N 3G2 on August 22, 2024, in accordance with the procedure described in Rule 5 below.

   The approximate retail value of an AIR MILES Reward Miles prize depends on the chosen method of redemption, available Reward options at the time of redemption, and the set preference between AIR MILES Cash and AIR MILES Dream balances. If redeemed with AIR MILES Cash, 95 Cash Miles can be used in-store for $10 towards purchases at participating AIR MILES Partners or 95 Cash Miles can be used online for eVouchers for $10 worth of value at participating Reward Partners. If redeemed for flights, value depends on destination chosen, date of travel and use of multiple carriers or suppliers. Winner must pay applicable taxes, related transportation fees, governmental levies, excess baggage and other non-ticket costs. The value of AIR MILES Reward Miles used for non-flight Reward options depends on Reward options in effect at the time of redemption. AIR MILES Reward Miles prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the AIR MILES Reward Program as amended from time to time. AIR MILES Reward Miles prize is not transferable or convertible to cash and must be accepted as awarded.

5. Prize Drawing
   Winner will be randomly selected via a draw from all eligible entries received within the Contest Period. The draw will take place at 3221 North Service Road, Burlington, ON L7N 3G2 on August 22, 2024. The winner will be contacted via phone and/or email at least three (3) times within seven (7) days. If the winner cannot be contacted at that time, another entrant will be randomly selected and the initial selected entrant will be disqualified and will have no recourse towards Children's Education Funds Inc. or its affiliates.

   In order to win, the selected entrant must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical, skill-testing question, and they will be required to sign a standard Declaration and Release Form confirming compliance with the Contest Rules, acceptance of the Prize as awarded and releasing AIR MILES Loyalty Inc., RMG Loyalty, and Children's Education Funds Inc. from all liability relating to the Contest. No substitution for, or transfer of the Prize, will be allowed. The selected entrant will have 5 days from the date of receipt to return a signed copy of the Declaration and Release Form to Children's Education Funds Inc. If the selected entrant does not do so within this period of time, or if they fail to correctly answer the skill-testing question, another entrant will randomly be selected and the initial selected entrant will be disqualified and will have no recourse towards AIR MILES Loyalty Inc., RMG Loyalty, or Children's Education Funds Inc. or anyone involved in the Contest.

6. Condition of Participation
   Submission of an entry constitutes acceptance of these contest rules by entrant. AIR MILES Loyalty Inc., RMG Loyalty, and Children's Education Funds Inc. do not accept responsibility for any loss, damage or claims caused by or resulting from this contest or the Prize. The prize winner(s) agrees by accepting the Prize to release AIR MILES Loyalty Inc., RMG Loyalty, and Children's Education Funds Inc. from any and all liability arising out of, pursuant to, or as a result of the carrying out of the Contest, including liability arising from the acceptance of the Prize as awarded and confirming compliance with contest rules. By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the use of their names, city of residence, photograph, voice and/or image for publicity purposes and in all mediums utilized by AIR MILES Loyalty Inc., RMG Loyalty, and Children's Education Funds Inc. without payment or compensation.
7. Chances of Winning
   Dependent on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
8. Ownership of the Contest
   The contest is managed by Children's Education Funds Inc. AIR MILES Loyalty Inc. and RMG Loyalty are in no way connected to the management of this contest.
9. Enrollment in the AIR MILES® Reward Program
   If a potential winner of AIR MILES® Reward Miles™ is not an AIR MILES® collector, they may enroll in the AIR MILES® Reward Program by visiting airmiles.ca. By enrolling to become an AIR MILES collector, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the AIR MILES® Reward Program as amended from time to time.
